We've always had some communication problems but now things have been getting a lot worse because he's off for business this summer and the job has taken him far away and we cant visit eachother because neither of us can afford it, but I'm going to see him in August when he gets back. We've been fighting so much lately and I brought up breaking up with him, even though I don't want to. Just because this whole long distance thing hurts me a lot. How can I stay strong through this? Ok, so my girlfriend broke up with me about 2 months ago. We had been together for 2 years. The first 3 or 4 weeks after the break-up I still wanted her back. Then we ended up having a huge argument over what seems to have been a mis-communication. So we haven't spoken at all since. I thought after that situation that I didn't want her anymore, also because her behavior and personality seemed to have been different since the break-up. All of our friends have noticed it too. I recently got a new car and I have had some problems with insurance?

I was at the dealership on September 1st, 2010. I received an offer for my vehicle and with that money plus some extra I was going to buy a new vehicle. I don't make stupid purchases I can't afford so I called my insurance company and gave them boatloads of information so I could try to understand how much my premium would go up per year. I had previously a 1998 Honda Accord and I was going to switch to either a 1997 Lexus ES300 or 1998 BMW 740IL. Upon giving my insurance the information they plugged the information in and told me that my insurance on the BMW would go up $900 annually. I reasonably declined and asked them to look into the Lexus. They then told me that the insurance would go up by $89 annually. So I agreed to this, $89 not being too much and I sold my vehicle and proceeded to buy the new Lexus. After getting the car I went to the insurance office, got my forms stamped and went to the RMV to register the vehicle. I registered the vehicle and about a month later I get a call from the insurance company telling me that there is a problem with my insurance. So I go down there and they tell me we made a mistake and that they're sorry, because instead of my Lexus being insured, they still had insurance on my old Accord. They handle this problem and then they tell me that my premium is going to go up by $435 a year compared to the $89 that we agreed on earlier. I am not okay with this jump. The phone call between me and the insurance company on September 1st is recorded, and I'm waiting on their call back, but what the hell can I do to make sure they stick to their commitment of $89.

I am very distant from people and i feel alone all the time as if i literally have no friends because i don't have much to begin with. I have tendencies to go M.I.A. and i could disappear for awhile, without contacting or calling etc. When i did have friends in HighSchool(now im in college), Once i went out with some of my friends and we all went inside a store and i just happened to be the only one that went my own way and just totally left the group. I may have done of purposely but i still had the thought of doing it. Don't get me wrong, I love people and i pray God give me friends in college now. Wiring receptacles in a series.?

I am renovating my house and had the whole thing rewired by licensed electricians. I'm trying to save a boatload of money by installing all the receptacles myself. I know that black wire is hot and that connects to a brass screw, white is neutral and goes to silver screw and bare wire is ground to the green screw. My question is if the outlet is in the middle of a series of outlets, does it matter with brass or silver screws the wires connect to? In other words, on the side of the receptacles are two silver and two brass screws, does one have to be for the power coming into the outlet and the other for power going to the next outlet in the series, or are they interchangeable?

You're on the right track, but do not replace it with a some crap (synomous with Toyota vehicles). I have had horrible experiences with my 2010 Toyota Sequoia--it's had a ton of trans problems and endless recalls. I recently traded a 1995 Chevy Suburban which was starting to have all the kinds of problems you've been describing. I started using stop leak and none of them worked--I tried at least 7 different kinds. I now own a 2011 Dodge Durango, and it's no doubt the best vehicle I've ever owned. But, obviously I know you do not want an expensive SUV. I would recommend replacing your Mercedes with something like a Ford Fusion (possible the best all-around car in the world), Chevy Impala, Ford Taurus, Dodge Caliber, or Dodge Charger. I am a teenager, and my parents are in their early 40's. I recently have seen some weird sexual things between them sorta come out of nowhere. 4 Year Relationship Issues?

Why doesn't my 5 1/2 month old "talk"?

My son is 5 months and 19 days old, and I've noticed recently that he doesn't coo or babble. He used to, up until maybe a month ago. I try to talk to him, I repeat "mama" over and over and I tell him I love him and when he fusses I ask him whats wrong. When I put him in the stroller or car seat I tell him where we're going and what we're going to do. I play patty cake with him and point to his mouth, nose, etc. and say what they are. But he doesn't verbal interact with me at all. He smiles all the time and laughs when I tickle him or make a funny noise, but he doesn't coo or babble at all. Is this something I should be worried about? Is there anything else I can do to get him to develop his communication skills?

A PhD is 8-12 years depending on many factors, only one of which is the field. None of those fields are worth getting a PhD in. In fact, most of them wouldn't even warrant a masters degree. The only reason to get a PhD in any of them would be if you wanted to teach at the college or university level - those jobs start out paying about 40k in those fields and it's hard to get them. A PhD will leave you vastly overqualified for all other jobs.

This is going to piss off a lot of people including the author the book and now movie series "Diary of a Wimpy kid" but you know I don't give a rat. My grandson and his parents-should I just butt out?

My grandson will be 2 in mid-July. My son and daughter-in-law do not live close to us so we see them 3-4 times a year. This past week they came home for an important family gathering and I am disturbed at my grandsons progress or lack of as far as communication. My son and his wife are WONDERFUL parents, but I am wondering if they are too doting. My grandson points and they jump-- he throws temper tantrums when he doesn't get his own way and they do nothing about it. He speaks very little although I know he can as when it is just him and I-he will talk up a storm. My husband and I babysat one night while they went out with some friends and it took me a while, but we finally had him running around-playing and rolling around outside. He was having a ball. He got dirty like I have never seen him (which is really not allowed by my DIL at all) and went to bed without issue and slept all night long. They picked him up in the morning and he was winey and moody all over again. They live in a very warm area, where it gets pretty miserable outside--so they stay in the house alot. They watch tv quite a bit and since they work alot (she a restaurant manager and he owns his own consturction company), he is at the sitters alot of the time. He is as smart as a whip--I do not believe for one minute he isn't able to do all the things a 2 year old should do, he just doesnt' when his parents are around and they don't make him. They have just entered him into a new daycare/nursery school that I think will benefit him greatly--playing with other kids and having to speak etc. I wish he lived closer so he could spend more time with us (we live on a farm and he LOVES the animals) but that is not possible. The stories I hear from my DIL about her upbringing, her parents were very, very strict, bordering on cruel (opne side of the story I know) my son was disciplined and to be honest once he got past about 7-8 years, I hardly ever had to discipline him, he had a good solid basis of right and wrong. They are both loving parents and I know they believe they are doing the right thing and only want whats best but sometimes I think they are too laid back with him. So do I keep my mouth shut or do I say something to my son/DIL? The not discipling is the part that really concerns me. They have to have a good solid base or they get out of hand as they get older.

One of my best friends told me she has breast cancer. She's 15. I moved away from the town she lives in about 7 months ago. In April, I was told she had breast cancer and I cried for nights. I've been calling her and talking to her and supporting her for this whole time. Back in april she said she found out she had it 4 months earlier, which was about 7 months ago. She said shes done surguries and they are sure she has cancer and it is spreading. She said it was spreading so fast that there is no use in taking chemo and she's dying this summer. I believed her all along but ive had a bit of doubt in the back of my mind when my best friend who sees her almost everyday says that her story just doesnt add up, and nothing seems right. I was arrested as a fresh 18 year old and got a boatload of charges and one conviction, a misdemeanor conviction, and 5 other charges 2 of which were felony charges, they were never even brought to court, i took the plea bargan for the misdomenor (rushed without counsel) . however this one night has haunted my life ever since ever, EVERY time i look for a job or apply for credit or attempt (HA) to join the militaryits an instant no go, My question is this, if the arresting officers rush you through paperwork, do not read you your Myranda rights, AND you have a handful of witness that were at the same even to contest this, could all charges be dropped. Also the police illegally entered my apartment, they had no probable cause, they made it all up, ALL OF IT just so they could high five each other after we were all handcuffed. Best friends crazy mother! help i want to hang out with my best friends?

My two best friends are twins...they have a crazy mother, she swears like a sailor even at me she gets mad easily and flips out I have so many stories I could share with you but ill try to keep this short and sweet, so lately she has been getting more and more crazy, the twins are extremely nice girls and don't do anything bad(like drugs, or drink, or sex, stuff like that) and there parents mainly there mom finds something to ground them like if there grade goes below a 90 then they get grounded for the week or if there mom is in a bad mood she will purposely irrate them till they get mad and yell at her then she take there car, and all communications and they kant hang out with friends I probably hang out with them like 3 times a month and I'm there best friend!!
