Japanese to English translation software?

There's a book I'd very much like to read, but that's written entirely in Japanese, with no English version ever having been made available. I'm told a professional translation will cost a boatload of money, and that I'll need to take several levels of Japanese to understand it, neither of which I want to do. I was wondering if one of those translation softwares (such as Systran) might be able to do the job? If so, which is the best?
