Do conservatives still believe that republicans will deliver them that no-tax Utopia Reagan promised them?

How is it that liberals want to help everybody, but their ideas tend to keep the poor, poor. Aren't we obliged to help them? If we want to help, we really have to get the government out of our lives and our wallet! Allow the free market to do what it does best, The strong will survive, the rest will not. Kinda like the Darwin theory.
