What's the deal on dry dog food?

Nature's Recipe has a good ingredient list except for menadione. I would not feed my dog anything that contains menadione. There are only three companies that I know of still using menadione, Nutro, Purina and Nature's Recipe. Find something that uses no menadione, no corn (the color makes no difference and it doesn't matter whether it is ground or not - no corn or any kind) especially corn gluten meal), no wheat, no soy and no by-products. Good choices are: Orijen, Blue Buffalo, Wellness, Castor & Pollux, Solid Gold, Merrick, Canidae, Pinnacle and Dogswell.
