Who exactly is Bill Clinton?

I mean I know he was the former president, but who is he really? How is it he came from a broken home with an alcoholic parent in a small town and turned into a President? Is there something secret about him? For ex. in Obama's case he got a boatload of money from Muslim businessmen (many of whom were wanted for jail time but suddenly disappeared from the media) he gave all this government grant money to during his term as Senator, not to mention the billions he took from other corps but I don't think Bill was involved in that kind of stuff, at least not that I was able to find in my research.
