What does this quote mean? we tend to ignore at our peril the worldview dimensions of our communication across?

not sure but as i read it, it tells me that, as a rule, the human population(meaning all existing cultures of this earth) don't really seem to give a crap about each other especially when that culture is facing many problems or is in need of help. i could be wrong but...that's how my brain and heart interprets it.

How do I stop having certain dreams?

Ok, so my girlfriend broke up with me about 2 months ago. We had been together for 2 years. The first 3 or 4 weeks after the break-up I still wanted her back. Then we ended up having a huge argument over what seems to have been a mis-communication. So we haven't spoken at all since. I thought after that situation that I didn't want her anymore, also because her behavior and personality seemed to have been different since the break-up. All of our friends have noticed it too. But since the initial break-up, I still dream about her, even after I thought I didn't want her anymore. The chances of her and I getting a second chance are a billion to one. So I would just love to quit dreaming about her. Because it just gives me mixed feelings when I wake up. The dreams are not every night, but usually once or twice a week.

Do you think I really loved my ex boyfriend?

He needs to save you as much as you need to save him. You cant be the only hero in the relationship. But he sounds too immature to be able to save you just yet. If you really think its meant to be, and you really want it to work out, then you have to give him more time. Trust me. I spent the longest time trying to get closer to this guy, when in reality, i was just pushing him away. You have to ignore him for awhile, make him want you, make him need you, make him miss you. I recently got a new car and I have had some problems with insurance?

I was at the dealership on September 1st, 2010. I received an offer for my vehicle and with that money plus some extra I was going to buy a new vehicle. I don't make stupid purchases I can't afford so I called my insurance company and gave them boatloads of information so I could try to understand how much my premium would go up per year. I had previously a 1998 Honda Accord and I was going to switch to either a 1997 Lexus ES300 or 1998 BMW 740IL. Upon giving my insurance the information they plugged the information in and told me that my insurance on the BMW would go up $900 annually. I reasonably declined and asked them to look into the Lexus. They then told me that the insurance would go up by $89 annually. So I agreed to this, $89 not being too much and I sold my vehicle and proceeded to buy the new Lexus. After getting the car I went to the insurance office, got my forms stamped and went to the RMV to register the vehicle. I registered the vehicle and about a month later I get a call from the insurance company telling me that there is a problem with my insurance. So I go down there and they tell me we made a mistake and that they're sorry, because instead of my Lexus being insured, they still had insurance on my old Accord. They handle this problem and then they tell me that my premium is going to go up by $435 a year compared to the $89 that we agreed on earlier. I am not okay with this jump. The phone call between me and the insurance company on September 1st is recorded, and I'm waiting on their call back, but what the hell can I do to make sure they stick to their commitment of $89.

How embarrasing is this?

If people judge you for who you are then they are not a good friend. Anyway, everything will eventually get better. I don't pay attention in class and I still have A's and B's so everyone calls me a nerd. Its not like that, I just learned the patterns of teachers to know the answers of things. I ignored them. When they saw that they couldn't bother me like that anymore it all stoped. If people judge you when they haven't even given you a chance, there not a good person. So why let what they do affect your life?
